A Nigerian woman has gone viral on the internet after purposefully using the Yoruba language to offend bus passengers in Owerri, believing that since none of them knew the language, they would not respond.
She was seen on the bus audaciously declaring her intention in a video that was posted on her TikTok page.
In the video, she said, “I’m in Owerri City, I’m in a bus, none of the passengers understand Yoruba, hence, I want to insult them one after another.” She continued to hurl taunts at the other passengers, and one of the men urged her to stop.
Many people who watched the video posted their opinions in the comment section as it went viral online; some people denounced her behavior, while others had conflicting feelings.
