Saga Adeolu, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, expresses his dissatisfaction after receiving what he called a “Mini Amala” at a wedding.
Posting a picture of the tiny serving of amala in a parfait cup and sharing his experience on Twitter (now X), Saga attributed the “miniature” serving to the nation’s ongoing economic difficulties.
Saga pointedly and humorously blamed President Bola Tinubu, aka “T-pain,” and the current administration for the state of affairs in a lighthearted but pointed tweet.
“They just served me ‘Mini Amala’ at a wedding now. T-pain you do this one,” he tweeted.
Saga’s comment, though humorous, reflects the growing frustrations many Nigerians are experiencing amid economic difficulties, especially concerning rising costs of food and living expenses.
His post quickly gained attention, with followers chiming in, many relating to the economic strain affecting even social gatherings like weddings.
