Real estate company debunks Sophia Momodu’s house ownership claims

A real estate company publicly refutes claims that fashion entrepreneur Sophia Momodu, mother to Afrobeats star Davido’s daughter, Imade Adeleke, is the owner of a luxurious house she recently showcased online.

Momodu used Snapchat on Friday, September 20, to show her fans a peek of what she seemed to be her recently bought house.

A tour of the property’s interior, which included a grand staircase and multiple unoccupied rooms, was included in the video. The display left viewers impressed, sparking conversations across social media about her new acquisition.

But a few hours later, a statement from the property’s real estate company refuted Momodu’s ownership of the home.

In their statement, the company clarified, “It’s the effrontery and the guts to lie with so much confidence.”

The company would not elaborate on why the house was highlighted in her Snapchat video or whether she had participated in any early discussions about the acquisition.

Different reactions have been seen online in response to this public rebuttal. Some fans have expressed confusion, while others have conjectured as to whether the house tour was merely a promotional arrangement or a sneak peek at a potential future purchase.
