Mike Edwards, the Big Brother Naija star, thanks his fans after winning his first boxing match.
Recall that the BBNaija season 4 runner-up joyfully declared his debut as a professional boxer, signing on to the Misfits Boxing in Apil Cruiserweight division roster.
After much anticipation, the much-awaited debut finally took place, with Mike Edwards defeating his opponent, Jake Cornish.
After the game, he took to Instagram to post an expression of gratitude to all of his supporters, mentioning people who were instrumental in his journey.
He wrote: “Survive and Advance 🥊 A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support me and to all of you who tuned in from home. I hope I made you proud! ❤️ They say there’s no test without a testimony, and I truly couldn’t have done this without God’s will.”
