Veteran musician Mike Ejeagha breaks down in tears as his song from 14 years ago becomes popular.

Veteran Nigerian musician Gentleman Mike Ejeagha becomes moved by the attention generated by a song he released in 2010 that was created by skit creator Brain Jotter.

The 14-year-old highlife song “Ka Esi Le Onye Isi Oche” was probably lost to history until it was dug up a few days ago.

The renowned actor and content creator Brain Jotter used it to create a dance move synchronized to the sound of the music in one of his skits, and that is where it all began.

On Instagram, the first video made by the skitmaker with Gentleman Mike Ejeagha’s song hit the highest views, garnering a whooping 659,000 likes while on Tiktok over 11 million views.

The music alongside Brain Jotter’s dance has since gone viral and is seen across Nigeria and also used in some Asian countries.

Since the song went viral, some content creators have paid homage to Mike Ejeagha as seen in a video where the aged man broke down in tears.

A TikToker named @anyigoldtv informed the man of the success of his new song and gave him an envelope that purportedly contained cash.

It was an emotional moment for the highlight singer who rained prayers and appreciated the effort of being contacted.
