“To say I am not on the same level as Burna Boy, Davido, or Wizkid is insulting.” – Rema

Divine Ikubor, better known by his stage name Rema, is a Nigerian singer who has stated that it is offensive to suggest that he is not as good as Afrobeats legends Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid—collectively, the “Big 3.”

Rema highlighted his position in the industry in response to criticism following his recent tweet identifying himself as a “Big 4.”

The 22-year-old artist addressed the issue in his latest release, “Hehehe,” under Mavin Global Holdings, where he confronts the ongoing debate surrounding his place among Afrobeats superstars.

Rema boldly sings in his song;

“No more big 3, there’s now a big 4. People go para but what for? Dem go say I don’t deserve it but that is an insult.
