Man Shares Experience After Sending Woman ₦15,000 for Transport Multiple Times Without Meeting Her

A man has recounted his experience with a woman he met online, alleging that he sent her transport fare on three different occasions but was repeatedly disappointed when she failed to show up.

According to him, he transferred a total of ₦15,000 across three separate attempts to help the woman travel and meet him. However, each planned meeting reportedly ended without her arrival.

He claimed that during the first attempt, the woman later explained that she had used the money for her ajo contribution instead of transportation.

On the second occasion, she allegedly said her phone had gone off, making it impossible for her to communicate with him. The third attempt reportedly ended with only an apology and no clear explanation for her absence.

The man said the situation took a different turn on a later Friday when the woman contacted him again and expressed her intention to visit.

According to his account, she eventually arrived several hours later after initially taking time to respond to his messages.

Rather than taking her to his residence, he said he booked a hotel room for her, where she stayed for about three days.

He further alleged that they spent time together during the stay before he left on Sunday afternoon, instructing her to order food while he was away.

However, shortly after leaving the hotel, the man said he blocked her across all communication platforms. He did not disclose the specific reason behind his decision.

Since then, he claimed the woman has repeatedly attempted to contact him through different phone numbers, sending messages containing accusations and insults.

Rather than engaging in further exchanges, the man said he responded by sending her three Bible passages — Ecclesiastes 7:8, Proverbs 11:18, and Proverbs 12:20 — and advised her to read them.

Reactions

“After she missed the first appointment, why did you still send transport money two more times?”

“Both of them were playing games. One kept collecting transport fare, the other kept sending it.”

“The real mystery is what happened in that hotel that made him block her immediately after leaving.”

“Three failed attempts and you still believed her? Love truly makes people ignore red flags.”

“She used transport fare for ajo and he still gave her another chance. That’s patience on another level.”

“Blocking her after three days together without an explanation was also unfair.”

“The Bible verses response is what has me laughing. Bro turned relationship drama into a sermon.”

“This story sounds like both sides have details they’re not telling us.”

“Some people would have stopped sending money after the first excuse.”

“If someone keeps asking for transport fare and never shows up, that’s already a warning sign.”

“The woman collected ₦15,000 before meeting him, but he also chose to keep sending it. Accountability goes both ways.”

“At this point, the lessons from the experience are probably worth more than the ₦15,000.”
