According to her, things took an unexpected turn during their first meeting when she casually asked about his bride price. In what she thought was a joke, the man immediately called his mother, who confirmed that the bride price was ₦2 million — a moment that left her stunned.
She also revealed that shortly after their encounter, the man reached out via WhatsApp with more personal details about his life. In the message, he disclosed that he has two daughters who do not live with him due to his wife’s work situation, and then suggested she should block him.
He added that meeting her was “an honour,” while also stressing that he did not want to be part of “men that take advantage,” and said he would accept whatever happens in good faith.
