A Nigerian man has shared a deeply emotional story about how a test he conducted to measure his wife’s love ultimately led to the collapse of their five-year marriage. 😳💔
According to the man, he earns about ₦500,000 monthly but often struggles to save up to ₦100,000 because most of his income goes toward supporting his wife and their household.
He explained that when they got married, his wife only had O-Level qualifications. Determined to see her succeed, he sponsored her education all the way to a Master’s degree.
Despite all he had done, a lingering question kept bothering him: Did she truly love him the same way he loved her?
Curious and uncertain, he decided to secretly test her.
The Fake Medical Result
One day, he typed out a fake medical report and even created a fake hospital stamp to make the document appear authentic.
When he showed the results to his wife at home, claiming his kidneys had been severely damaged, her reaction shocked him.
Instead of comforting him, she reportedly panicked and lashed out.
“You have destroyed your life! I used to warn you that the pain relief drugs you take are too much,” she allegedly shouted.
The man explained that he sometimes took pain relief medication because of the stress from work and the long hours he spent in traffic.

“Kola’s kidneys are damaged. It’s not my fault so nobody should blame the food I cook. I warned him many times about taking too many pain relief drugs like paracetamol and Panadol,” she allegedly told them.
Soon, several relatives began calling him in panic, but he calmly assured them he would explain everything later.
The Request That Changed Everything
In a dramatic moment, the man said he knelt before his wife and asked her for one thing.
“You warned me before, but right now I need a kidney donor. Please donate one of your kidneys for me,” he pleaded.
Her reply stunned him.
“Me ke??? What about your mother? Your father? Your siblings?” she responded.
He reminded her that they had been married for five years without having a child and that doctors had earlier said the fertility issue was from her side. Despite that, he said he never blamed or punished her and instead paid for medical treatments while supporting her education.
Still, he begged again for her help.

When she heard this, she laughed and claimed she had known all along that it was a prank and was only pretending.
But the man said he did not believe her explanation.

Feeling deeply hurt, he concluded that despite supporting her for years—paying for her education, medical treatments, and standing by her through their struggles—she had failed his test of love.
